Explanation

So, the other day (actually on Valentine's evening) Zach and I let Bailey spend the night with Memaw (but not for romantic reasons). Zach's mom had to go to the doctor the next morning and said it would be easier if Bailey was already at her house instead of driving all the way to our house to get her and then all the way back to the doctor. So, Zach and I sat around not knowing what to do... Yes, I am aware how sad that sounds but now that we have her we never do things alone and so we sat on the couch until we decided to go to dinner (I am making this story WAY longer than it needs to be, ha). Anyway, I was standing in the utility room getting ready to leave when he mentioned (nicely) that I needed a better bra. He was, of course, right! Honestly, I NEVER buy stuff for myself because I feel guilty about even spending 3.99 on a breakfast burrito meal at McDonalds since I always feel like we never have money. But, truth be told, I was still wearing my nursing bras and I haven't nursed in OVER 2 years!

As luck would have it, Zach's dad just so happened to send me 100 dollars for my birthday (which was just a few days before). He had never done that before so I was shocked and EXTREMELY pleased. Now, my mom won't give me money for my birthday because she knows I will spend it on Bailey. So she just took me shopping instead. But, I was SO good and I actually used 90 dollars to buy things for myself! One of the things, was of course, the white bra that little B is wearing in the post below. I actually bought the bra as kind of a joke and planned to take it back. It's a push-up bra with A LOT of padding! NO, I do not have breasts even CLOSE to the size of that bra!

So, I bought the bra and many other outfits at my new favorite store fashion.bug and took them home. I get home before DH so I put the bra on and literally started laughing at my "instant boob job." I got dressed and started making dinner. When he got home he didn't say anything for a few minutes and then, he turned around, sat down on the chair and said "Honey, your boobs look huge today!" I started cracking up! (He is going to be so mad at me for telling you this but hey, they're my boobs and if I want to talk about them, I can).

Needless to say, Bailey grabbed the bra after I took it off. She started prancing around the house saying "Wook at my new boobies, Baidey got new boobies." So I HAD to take a picture! I guess she was getting me back for not using the money on her! However, you have NO idea how it feels to get up in the morning and not wear the same 4 outfits OVER and over! Now, when I get up I don't have to plan what I want to wear the night before because I have so much more to choose from. I also got several pieces of jewelry on clearance for 1.98! I should take some picture but really, who wants to see pictures of my new clothes except me:)?

The Sweetest Words

"Mama, I love you SO much."

While we were lying in bed the other night, Bailey rolled over next to me and said "mama, I love you so much." It melted my heart! I almost cried right there. They were the sweetest words I had ever heard. And, as I drove to work this morning I thought about all of you who have never heard these words but have wanted to for so long. That made me a little sad. I can't imagine my life without my little girl and I know how hard it is to wait. So, this morning I said a prayer for YOU, and YOU, and YOU! I prayed that this would be your year so that you can soon hear the sweetest words.

Isaac prayed to the LORD on behalf of his wife, because she was barren. The LORD answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
Genesis 25:21
Prayer works!

Home

So, this is what our house looks like when it's clean. Even the playroom (which is actually supposed to be the dining room and you can see it's off of our formal living room) is clean:).
Other pictures include: our informal living room, our breakfast nook, the half bath (which is mint, NOT lime like the picture looks) the front door (inside), and the balcony to the upstairs. Sorry it took me so long. ENJOY :) Oh, and please enjoy the fact that I let Bailey eat funyuns for a snack, ha! You can click HERE and HERE to see the upstairs rooms. I don't have pictures of the master bedroom or the guest bedroom.

FREE!

EVERYTHING (minus the gorgeous 2 year old) was FREE! Yes, that's right! I got it ALL at wal.greens, for FREE! Here's how:

Several months ago, Wal.greens sent us a 25.00 check in the mail. Of course, I thought it was a scam so I called to find out what it was all about. They said that all I had to do was transfer one of my prescriptions over to them from another store and as soon as I picked it up, they would validate the check. I could buy WHATEVER my heart desired as long as it was at least 25 dollars. SERIOUSLY? You have NO idea how excited I was! At that time, they sent us 2. I got one and Zach got one... I transferred a script for each of us and used the 50 bucks. Just last week Zach got another one. I was SO excited. So, we transferred the same prescription as before to the new wal.greens (which is in the town where we now live) and BAM! Another 25 free dollars!
But, that's NOT all!
Today, I called the home office and asked if they would send me a 25.00 check as well. Within a couple hours, the manager of the store where we now live said "Ma'am I cannot send out a check because those come from the home office but if you will call me before you transfer your script, I will give you a 25.00 gift card!" WHAT!? So, now I have another 25 free dollars to spend! Also, the script we transferred for Zach is on the free list for his insurance so we didn't have to pay a penny for it! And, my script is only 5.00! So, I guess I really only am getting 45.00 worth of free stuff but seriously, I am SO excited.
I get so excited, in fact, that Zach said to me, "honey, can you please keep your excitement to yourself, you are kind of embarrassing me." We were walking through the store and I, Of course, was shopping off of the add and saved an extra 24.00 and every time I put something in the cart I was giddy! Seriously, I know I have a problem, HAHA! So, when we got home, he said, I HAVE to take a picture for you to put on the blog because if you are this excited, other people need to know about it." Isn't that sweet of him :) I can't even tell you how excited I am :)
OH, if you want to try this yourself you can go to their website, call the 1-877 number, and request your own 25.00 check. The only thing is, the ONLY state it's not valid, is ARKANSAS! My mom is bummed b/c she can't get one.

I received this blog award from Lori at "Everyday Blessings." It's been a LOOOONG time since I've had a blog award so this is SUPER special! Thank you LORI!!
Here are the rules for the award:
~Thank the person who nominated you and link to their blog.
~Copy the award and paste it to your blog.
~Tell us 7 interesting facts about yourself.
~Nominate 7 bloggers that you love and link to their blog.

~I was once signed with a record company. It was a small company and I didn't go through with it becuase I was still in high school (but I still love to sing).
~My favorite boy name is Carter. It was my mom's maiden name. However, if I ever have a son he probably will not be named that as it's NOT a fav of the DH. (Maybe I can get a middle name out of it) :)
~ DH and I met on the internet!
~ I spent 3 months at a children't home in Mississippi, volunteering. It was an AWESOME experience! I learned a lot and all of those children will always hold a special place in my heart.

Ok, now, for the nominees:

Tiffany at "The Pifer's Journey through Infertility" She is a HUGE inspiration to me!

ZA ACH

Yesterday Bailey and I had this conversation:

Bailey: "I hungry mommy."

Me: "Well, go upstairs and tell daddy that you are ready for lunch and ask him what he wants."
(ok, I realize that was too many directions for a 2 year old).

Bailey: "Otay, I do it."

Then, my little precious standing at the bottom of the steps starts SCREAMING: ZAAAACH, ZAAACH!

To which, he answers "Yes, baby?"

Bailey: "I hungry Daddy, want to eat."

And then all you could hear was my INSANE laughter in the background!
Of course, a few minutes later, she was calling me "medy." For some reason, I thought I would get to be mommy for a little longer. HA! I promptly corrected her that I am mommy and Zach is daddy! But she thinks it's quite funny!
